Over 100 seats to kick back and soak up the view of the Discovery Passage, whether its watching whales in the summer or storm watching in the winter. 
 
Our patio dining preferences can have you staying warm in our semi-enclosed heated patio or enjoying full sun or semi shaded seating.

ABOUT US

Our Story

Fifty Parallel Tap & Grill is a family run restaurant that combines casual, ocean-side dining with a newly renovated, steam-punk, west coast vibe. Owned and Operated by Peter & Colleen Apostolakos, who have been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. After out growing their Merecroft Village location, known as Acropolis Kuizina, the dream was to have a waterfront restaurant. In 2019 they opened with a new brand and new look that was Campbell River’s first Social House.

Guests can sit back and enjoy the views of the Discovery Passage while sipping on local Vancouver Island craft beers, from one of our 20 rotating taps. Our menu leads with locally sourced products when available and offers a variety of perfectly cooked steaks, ribs, seafood, and our classic Greek cuisine. Known for our house-made favorites including our hand-pressed burgers and house-cut fries, fresh, hand tossed pizza, or health conscious options including our popular salad bowls.
Pull up a seat on our beautiful extended patio, grab a flight of beer in our Tap House, or enjoy an intimate dining experience in our Acropolis Dining Room.

A local favorite! Peter and his team take pride in the experience they deliver to their customers and it shows. The large menu offers a wide variety of delicious food varying from vegan options, to modern pub style food, to steakhouse type food, to their immensely popular Greek food. The menu options will ensure that there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are lovely, funny, and very personable. Peter also makes his rounds to visit each table and ensure that his guests are happy. 10/10 recommend.
